Creativity is the heart of student engagement. Integrating the arts into curriculum supports student agency, universal design and trauma informed skill building. In order to educate ALL students its imperative to meet them where they are. This requires empathy, understanding the root of student successes, and challenges. Just like a good performer an effective educator reads their audience and adjusts accordingly.

That is the ART of teaching.
