Working in a school system is a daily adventure. You see everything from the most inspiring, creative, and empowering activities to those that are demeaning, antiquated, and down right awful! I love using my arts background and experience with diverse communities to promote positive change. I find that most people working in education are there because they wanted to make a difference. The system can be so oppressive that the spark is easily snuffed out.
